The Living Bilingual Series is a YouTube interview series focused on creating a platform for speakers of another language, whether from childhood or acquired, to share their story speaking another language and how they recall learning it.

Episode 1 - Egyptian Arabic

Adam is a NYC college student who is also a speaker of Egyptian Arabic. In the first episode we get to see how speaking a second language has impacted his life, and what it means to be bilingual, according to the world of Adam. The original name of the series was “Interviewing a Bilingual” but that sounded too generic compared to “Living Bilingual” at least in my opinion 🙂

Episode 2 - Serbian

Helena H. grew up speaking Serbian at home, and was exposed to some Russian as well. She lives in New York City and talks about her view on the Serbian language.
